6363 - bóbita

For 6363’s bóbita, we turned our FEEDBACK GHOST installation into a music video set and an image-making machine at the same time.

Built inside the vast underground cellar system of Kőbánya, the installation creates an analogue feedback loop in which the camera continuously encounters its own image. Together with director Lóci Fazakas, we shot the entire video on a VHS camera, in a single uninterrupted take, without any post-production effects (aside from coloring). Everything visible in the final film happened physically, live, inside the space.

The endlessly repeating image gradually drifts, multiplies and breaks apart as the video signal passes through the loop again and again. Its unstable, ghostlike visual language became a natural counterpart to bóbita, a track that plays with time, memory and shifting states of being.

Rather than adding effects afterwards, we let the system perform them in real time: camera, feedback, light, space and signal degradation becoming the visual language of the film.
